Committee Members


Iggy graduated from Syracuse University with an A.B. in economics and earned an
M.B.A from Cal State Dominguez Hills. After a career in purchasing and contract
administration, he retired from the U.S. Air Force as a lieutenant colonel. Iggy then
worked 12 years with an aerospace company, finishing in 2000 as a sector vice
president of contracts and regional marketing for BAE SYSTEMS North America
Aircraft Controls in Santa Monica.
Iggy’s wife Suzanne and he fell in love with Cambria in 1984 and became part-time
residents four years later. In 2000, they moved to Cambria full time. He is a member
of the Joslyn Recreation Center, has volunteered at their annual Strawberry
Breakfast during Pinedorado and is treasurer of the Center’s consolidated Bridge
Clubs. He is also a member of Neighbors Club and was a member of the North
Coast Advisory Council for six years. He is a member and former Chair of the
Cambria Round Table and has held various positions on the Cambria Community
Healthcare District’s Board of Directors including President for two years. His
volunteer efforts include a locally-funded initiative to achieve dental care for the
community’s underserved youth aged six to seventeen. He is a member of the
Cambria Lions Club and administers the Pediatric Dental Initiative Grant on the
Club’s behalf.
Iggy enjoys traveling and has visited all 50 states and more than 70 countries. He
also enjoys cooking. His late wife and he started the Neighbors Gourmet Cooking
Club in 2007 which ran for seven years. He contributed to Greenspace a Cambria
Land Trust’s Men of Cambria Cook book and marched in the 2017 Pinedorado parade
promoting the cookbook. Iggy enjoys playing Bridge, Trivial Pursuit, reading fiction
and non-fiction as well as walking. Problem solving is one of his favorite pastimes.
