Description: This is a part-time position (24 to 32 hours each week) with a hybrid work schedule split between home and office.

Requirements: Five to ten years of progressive supervisory experience. Strong accounting and finance background. Experienced in accounting software, preferably QuickBooks. Problem solving skills. Service to others orientation. Solid working knowledge of computers and MS Office. Able to work independently. Financial budgeting experience.

Salary and Benefits: Hourly rate $43.00 - $48.00. 3 weeks vacation for the first five years with the District (5 hours accrued per pay period). 11 holidays per year. 96 hours of sick leave per year (4 hours accrued per pay period). District pay 100% of the health premiums in effect for the employees and dependent coverage for the highest cost plan available to District employees through CalPERS. District pays 100% of the dental premiums currently in effect for employees and dependent coverage for the highest cost plan. A Group Life Insurance Plan will be provided with a $50,000 life insurance policy. Upon completion of the minimum number of days and hours worked required for CalPERS eligibility, CalPERS 3% @ 60 retirement plan for covered employees hired prior to October 1, 2012, including single highest year computation and credit for unused sick leave; 2% @ 60 retirement plan for covered employees hired on or after October 1, 2012 up through December 31, 2012, including the 36 highest consecutive months final compensation provision; covered employees hired on or after January 1, 2013 who are defined as “new members” under PEPRA will be covered by the 2% @ 62 retirement plan and the 36 highest consecutive months final compensation provision. Employee pays 100% of the CalPERS employee contribution.

Description: The Cambria Community Healthcare District is conducting a testing process for a Part-time Paramedic hiring list. The testing process is open to all Paramedics currently licensed in the state of California and currently accredited in San Luis Obispo County. This list may last up to 1 year.
