WHEREAS, on
September 11, 2001, the World Trade Center in New York City and
the Pentagon Building in Arlington, Virginia, were targets of
a terrorist attack on the United States of America; and
WHEREAS, the
nation mourns the loss of the many lives resulting from this
attack, including hundreds of public safety personnel; we continue
to stand united but remain cognizant of the fact that other terrorists
are continuing to target the United States; and
WHEREAS, the
Cambria Community Healthcare District’s Ambulance Operations
and Crisis Intervention Team continue to remain diligent to respond
to the needs of the residents and visitors to the San Luis Obispo
County North Coast, in times of local, regional and national
emergencies.
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE
IT RESOLVED THAT
THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES hereby recognize and honor the heroism
of the hundreds of public safety personnel who lost their lives
in the response of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack, as
well as those of the public safety personnel who responded, above
and beyond the call of duty, and survived this tragic event;
and
NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES hereby recognize
and honor the resolve of it’s Paramedics, Emergency Medical
Technicians and Crisis Intervention Team volunteers, who continue
to provide dedicated service on behalf of the Cambria Community
Healthcare District.
On a motion of Board member Lemming,
seconded by Board member Cullen, and on the following vote, to
wit:
